Good heavens! Please do your self a favor and learn a couple of things about cars. You should absolutely change your oil filer every time you change your oil, especially 15000 miles over due. Toyota's are amazing and can last a really long time if you treat them well.

Also, some shops are bad, but others have some very intelligent people working there, take advantage of their knowledge.

I used to hate getting my car worked on, but now we go to a local place with reliable greasy guys who know my husband. They know I will call him up if they try to offer me something I don't need, but luckily I trust them when they do tell me I need something. Good luck getting hubby to install the filter!

I freakin HATE those lube shops. I will say that if they mixed lube shops with 'gentleman's clubs'...they could up sell all they wanted and I would not complain in the least!
