The past 6 weeks things have been a tinsy bit stressful seeing as how I lost my job but wasn’t escorted immediately out of the building which has left me in limbo. My boss has let me loiter for quite some time and I am not sure which is worse escorting or loitering.
Let me summarize the last 6 weeks:
- I was told I needed to find a new job
- Relished the possibilities of getting to find new childcare
- I lost my job entirely
- I noticed my nice rack
- I realized I gained 10 pounds hence the cleavage
- Get to keep my job and work from home
Let me provide a visual:

It’s been weird going through the emotions of losing my job and the stress that comes with figuring out how to afford our current lifestyle only to find out all the worry was for nothing.
So, June 30th is my last day in the office.
I’ll be “working” from home.

Yeah for you...maybe...love the graphics...wouldn't have got it any other way.
Wow. That's a rough six weeks. I am glad that it ended well though.
Welcome to the club of Work Ambiguity! (I was a member for far too long.) It's great that you get to keep your job AND work from home. It sucks about the lbs., but the enhanced cleavage is something all girls are very jealous of! Don't think of it as extra weight, think of it as extra, um, sexy! :)
That's QUITE a wild ride!
Ten pounds weight gain?
In your breastly region?
What are you know, an A cup?
work from home..yay! blog while working....bigger yay! Peaks and valleys my friend...peaks and valleys (no pun intended, okay, yes there was! LOL)
you either need a drink, or a p test.. or both!
You're funny! I'm glad it worked out great. It's much better to work from home!
So, you're still getting paid, just getting paid to sleep in late??? What a drag.
I can't comment on enhanced cleavage, not my place, but congrats to your husband.

be thankful you gain cleveage with the extra weight. I gain the weight but never ever ever any cleveage, not even during pregnancy.
Oh and I'm glad to hear you still have a pay check.
I'm glad that everything worked out well for you. I'd rather work from home anyway.
I wish I could gain 10 lbs in my cleavage! When I gain weight I either look like A) a chipmunk, B) pregnant, or C) a pregnant chipmunk.
WOW!! Yeah, the whole cleavage/ten pounds thing is enough to make a girl go crazy.
Hmmmm, I love me a good roller-coaster! Congrats on still getting a paycheck but staying home. You told Bob you'd find a way to make X while staying home! He should be bowing down to your psychic powers (and your cleavage) as we speak!
Sooooo, its not just my cleaveage you've been noticing. Good to know. Now about this rollercoaster, I reccomend some good support, for the cleavage, otherwise, I pretty much hold on for dear life (not to the cleavage to the safety bar). I don't like rollercoasters.
Wow, Kandace! You are right! We do have a lot in common. I think you documented my last several months perfectly too, even down to the job and cleavage/poundage situation.
I am so happy for you! I mean it- I was totally bummed when I heard you lost your job- like we need MORE stress right....and then to see how things turn around for even a better deal. Man the universe loves a bit of comedy.....
Oh will it make you feel better to know I have gained 10lbs since I started blogging 3 months ago...and I already had a ginormous rack. Now I can barely type on my keyboard....
(seriously happy for you.!)
Your job thing just totally confuses me. I can completely understand why you're on a roller coaster with it.
Yay for cleavage! Boo to 10 pounds...unless all 10 pounds are in said cleavage. Then yay for 10 pound cleavage!
hello there..
blah. that sounds like no fun at all. I have a similar year and a half - full of ups and downs. We bought our first home - up. My parents got divorced - down. I got a raise - up. My mom got remarried and my hubby's grandmother past away, he lost his job and we owe money on our taxes- down. growing up is no fun - taxes, death, responsibility - blah to all of it!
