Eviction Notice: Gary & Steve

WHO: The gay parrots, Gary & Steve, who have been residing in our bedroom since November of 2007 are hereby evicted.

WHEN: Gary & Steve have until end of business Monday June 30th to get out.

WHY: For non-stop squawking. My new office is a peaceful place and cannot tolerate screams, of any sort. Kids are you listening? You may be next!

Seems like they may be taking this notice seriously. Or, not. Are they mocking me?

It's Friday Foto Finish Fiesta time come play or browse the other entries.

Gary and Steve are just so precious! (insert hand flail and lisp here)

You're a braver woman than me to let two grown macaws in your bedroom. I don't think I could handle lovebirds, and they are quiet!

They look so cute together but I couldn't handle birds in the house at all.

I LOVE macaws. Your guys are so beautiful....I can say beautiful about gay males can't I?

In this picture it looks like they are planning a takeover of some sort.....better stay alert!

They are beautiful birds! I have a couple of ferrets I'm ready to serve an eviction notice on--they are very messy tenants!!

Maybe they'll go to CA and finally apply for their marriage license.

Heather said...

They are beautiful! But because I have a huge bird phobia, I'm convinced they are mocking you. They totally are.

I have to agree they are plotting. You can see it from the way they look all innocent. Birds and innocent just don't go together, I mean look at how they go to the bathroom, ALL OVER. They just let it fly. You can't trust creatures who do that. Innocent accidents...I don't think so. Don't let your guard down!

They are so cute - I love it!

Yeah, I hate to say it, but I think they're mocking you.

What is it with gay birds and 8 year old girls mocking us? Huh?

Looks like those two are planning something. I wouldn't expect them to leave without a fight. Might want to have the police on standby.

Birds really freak me out, so I would have given them an eviction before they came in the house.

I am impressed with your openmindedness to house a gay bird couple. What are you feelings on gay bird marriage?

awww... they're cute.

but I wouldn't turn my back on them if I were you. There's nothing like two gay birds spurned.

So cute! I agree that they look like they are whispering about you. Maybe your outfit isn't color coordinated. LOL!

The photo of Gary and Steve is precious!
Too bad they're so noisy.

Lori said...

Okay, how do you tell them apart? Do they have little name tags?

Sarah Jewel said...

Tell 'em to shut up or you're going to start wearing pink spandex pants around the house.

I miss having birds around!

I think you're interrupting something...

You can't evict the gay birds on Gay Pride day. That's pretty low. Tisk tisk. :P

Shelle said...

OH that's funny...yes they are mocking you! lol! Awesome pic!

Kandace said...

Tali, You're right! Luckily they aren't techinically evicted until the 30th which leaves the entire weekend to attend the Gay Pride festivities here in Seattle :)

IDK--they might be mocking you! I came upon your blog thru another link. Cool stuff here! I've got a new blog, & I'm running a giveaway this week. The deadline was 5 p.m. today, but we'll extend it to neat bloggers like you. The link is http://poprs.blogspot.com/2008/06/giveaway-tuesday.html -- hope you visit soon!

Oh my gosh, Kandace. I consulted my attorney and Tali is right. Something about the Gay Aviary Advocates Mediocre Enterprises (G.A.G. M.E.) ;)

I love your macaws! My son LOVES birds. Fortunately, he's only 2 (I only have another week to say that. My baby turns three next week!) so he doesn't know you can actually have them as pets. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Mamahut said...

Your babies are very pretty! I imagine that they do get pretty noisy huh? I do think there is a plot against you.

Shannon said...

You are just evicting them from the room??? I think if they made that much noise they would be out of the house. But then again you wouldn't want to be sued by G.A.G.M.E (hehe)

Love it!

Yup, the are mocking you, and ploting revenge. You can see it in their eyes. They are beautiful though.Where are they being moved to?

Lauren said...

Great photo. I don't know how you dealt with them to begin with. I would be terrified.

I am so not a bird person, but that is a cute photo. We should round up your gay birds and Heather's gay dogs and have a parade or something.

While I am not gay, I did go to college and there was some...well, "experimenting". I could lead it!

Graham Shenanigans said...

The closest bird looks like he is saying, "are you serious?". That is hilarious!!

Teri said...

Aaaawwwww, but they are so cuuuuuuute!

Jane @ Kidzarama said...

So are they out yet, or are they leaving it to the last minute to pack up their pastel waterbowls and toenail polish?

Brittany said...

This is hilarious!
