Remember how I told you 70 degrees in Seattle is balmy?
I was not lying. Of course, it helps that we have warm water in the pool, but still, totally balmy!

Downright Balmy!

What a cool idea of putting the baby pool at the bottom of the slide! Totally stealing that from you when it warms up here again. It was in the low 80's a few days ago, right now it's snowing. Crazy mother nature is Bi-Polar out here.
It really was balmy though. Even Sunday when it was all gray. I need a kiddie pool on my balcony.
Talisman - It was my 3-year-olds idea. Genius, really.
Sizzle - We didn't bust out the pool until Sunday. I thought they were nuts, then realized how unusually warm it seemed. I don't remember 68-70 degrees being that warm. Oh and we have an extra kiddie pool if ever need to borrow one [:
Oohh, I can't let my kids see me reading your blog now. They see the slide in the pool and swear we need to go outside and swim. Probably because there was almost not a single day of the year in TX when we couldn't swim. The sun comes out here and they think its nice 'enough' Tempting to let them and then see how fast they high tale it inside when those 40mph winds pick up. See, they can't see your cuties or they'll think everyone should swim outside in April. Thanks a lot! ;)
Mom23monkeys,
I remember when you lived there and it seemed like your kids lived in the water. Crazy what moving a few states away will do.
And Holy smokes to those 40 mph winds - stay safe.
I think we have almost the SAME play structure you guys have! We got ours at Costco a couple years ago.
It seriously DOES feel balmy when it hits 70...I'm SO ready to be done with this blah-40s/50s weather we've had for most of the last couple months (except for that handful of balmy days which came and went all too soon).
