Wiivil

The phenomenon that is the Wii has taken our house by storm.

I hate video games, no wait, I loathe video games. You see, I am slightly competitive and only really enjoy things that I excel at and seeing as how I loathe video games it makes it really hard to excel at them, know what I mean? So, I just ignore their existence and they ignore mine. (It's a little deal I have with them, shhh, don't tell anyone!)

I suppose I should now rephrase the sentence, I loathe video games, because that has totally changed since I was introduced to the Wii 3 weeks ago.
The Wii was all, Hi please don't judge me, I'm different I swear. Then I was all, psst whatever, you are all the same.

Oh and I was so wrong.

If you don't already know, the Wii is an interactive gaming system that allows the player(s) (Mii's) to actually take part in the gaming experience. I cannot say enough about this glorious invention, because, ya'll, I can play a game of bowling in my living room and then proceed to play 9 holes of golf before whooping my dear husband in a 3 round boxing match.

Finally, something I can actually play and actually improve - they even have training you can do. It's AMAZING and I can't stop playing, in fact, Aspen mimics my bowling throw and is on her way to the professional league, ya'll.

Come on over, we can play some golf or bowling or boxing or tennis or omg move out the way I'm gonna whoop you at some dodge ball.

Please note: The blizzard that was expected last night only resulted in many inches of rain, so, no snow day for me and the kids. Bummer!

And for those of you who come here for, the pictures, feast your eyes on this!

Introducing, Lady Channel or you can just call her Koko! She falls asleep with Kyan every night - she's a keeper!

Awe, Koko is so darn cute! Hmmm, there might be something to this wii. I also loathe video games. Banned them entirely until recently from my house but in these cold winter months the Wii is oftly tempting.
